So, where's the trailer?

We have access to the back of our property via an easement from the street at the west end of our block.

The orange temporary fence is across the back of our property.

The trailer is in our neighbor's backyard.  Gerry built a fence for privacy.

Inside the gate there is a nice little patio.

Working on the sewer pipe

There's a crawlspace under our refigerator for quick access to the plumbing under the kitchen...just in case.  I came home today and found Gerry under the house digging around the sewer pipe and his helper, Kenny, digging out the sewer pipe in front of the house.

I knew Gerry was in the hole somewhere so I just stuck the camera down the hole and snapped.  Got a good shot!
Digging a ditch around the sewer pipe in front of the house.
I can hear him but I can't see him.
I had to get into the sewer ditch to get this picture.

Done for the day!

Planter next to the front porch

Before:

Gerry uses his "stomach muscles" to help steady the jack hammer!

The steps and planter are gone after Gerry & Kenny play with a jack hammer and sledge hammer.

Getting ready to move the washer & dryer.

The washer & dryer are being moved to the bedroom that's not being demolished--the bedroom we're currently using--so we'll be able to do laundry at home.  We used the space that was...and will be again...the bedroom closet.  The remaining bathroom is on the backside of the closet wall so the water, sewer and power were easily accessible.

Gerry hung plastic to try to keep the dust from getting all over the bedroom.

The hot & cold water and the sewer pipes are installed.  Electrical outlets are ready to hook up to the line from the power pole once we're on the grid.

Power Pole is installed in the backyard!

The Power Pole was the first sign in the backyard that we're very close to getting the house remodel started.
No, it's not yet hooked up to the "grid."
